Présentation de microsillons

Créé en 2005 à Genève par Marianne Guarino-Huet et Olivier Desvoignes, le collectif microsillons développe des projets artistiques collaboratifs engagés dans une réflexion sociale et citoyenne, en s’appuyant sur des stratégies issues des pédagogies critiques et féministes. 

Le collectif a collaboré avec de nombreuses institutions culturelles dont le Garage (Moscou), le 116 – centre d’art contemporain (Montreuil), VANSA (Johannesburg), le WYSPA Institute (Gdansk), le Centre d’art contemporain du Parc St-Léger ou Le Centre d’art contemporain Genève, où il a été en charge des projets de médiation entre 2008 et 2010. Depuis 2015, microsillons est responsable du Master TRANS– Pratiques artistiques socialement engagées, à la HEAD – Genève.

microsillons a participé à plusieurs recherches soutenues par le Fonds national suisse de la recherche scientifique et a publié en 2019 “Motifs incertains – Enseigner et apprendre les pratiques artistiques socialement engagées” (Presses du réel).

Le collectif est lauréat d’une bourse pour médiateur de la Ville de Genève (2007) et d’un Swiss Art Award (2008) (finalistes de l'édition annulée de 2020).

Marianne Guarino-Huet et Olivier Desvoignes sont détenteur·trice de doctorats (PhD) de la University of the Arts London.

Created in 2005 in Geneva by Marianne Guarino-Huet and Olivier Desvoignes, the microsillons collective develops collaborative artistic projects engaged in social and civic reflection, based on strategies borrowed from critical and feminist pedagogies.

The collective has collaborated with numerous cultural institutions including the Garage (Moscow), the 116 - contemporary art center (Montreuil), VANSA (Johannesburg), the WYSPA Institute (Gdansk), the Contemporary Art Center of Parc St- Léger or the Center for Contemporary Art Geneva, where he was in charge of mediation projects between 2008 and 2010. Since 2015, microsillons has been responsible for the Master TRANS - Socially Engaged Art Practices, at HEAD — Geneva.

microsillons has participated in several research projects supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation; the duo won a Swiss art (2008) and a grant from the City of Geneva (2007).

Marianne Guarino-Huet holds a doctorate from the University of the Arts in London, a National Superior Diploma in Plastic Arts from the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris as well as a postgraduate diploma within the HEAD CCC research program.

Olivier Desvoignes holds a PhD from the University of the Arts London, a Masters in Letters from the University of Neuchâtel and a graduate diploma from HEAD (CCC Research Program).
